This award, established in 1996, honors the best feminist theory and/or gender studies graduate student paper presented at the current year’s ISA Annual Convention.
ABOUT THE AWARD- The recipient receives a book, his or her attendance to the ISA Annual Convention shall be subsidized, a certificate and $100. The prize money is drawn from the FTGS Section account.
- The Award Committee consists of: The FTGS Executive Committee (Chair, Past Chair, Vice Chair, and Members-at-Large). The Committee terms are at the discretion of the FTGS Section Officers
- The Committee Chair is responsible for notifying the Recipient of the Award and encouraging the Recipient to attend the Annual Convention at which the Award is to be presented so as to receive the Award in person.
- Application deadline: November 30th
